I have seen many people using wolves in comics, drawings and such but one thing stood out....

They were using the wrong expression to portray the emotion.

Well time to fix that. This chart here was taken from a book I had recieved as a gift from when I was in the military. It works like this.

Left to right goes from neutral to aggression and from the left to the top goes from neutral to defensive. The thing i want everyone to notice is.....yes you guessed it....

THE EARS!!!

I hope this helps everyone with drawing wolf expressions!!!

Also their mouths are important! ears and mouth are connected in the expression-showing way! :) When mouth is "long" it means submissive, when its "short" it means dominant! :D
